Integrating Logos and Branding Elements

Branding elements are the graphics, logos, flags, murals, directories, and information monitors or any other elements that portray the image of the company, city or a building. They are an important component of first impressions, as they are the most recognizable symbols of identification.

Including branding elements and logos with architectural details and signage is an important design consideration. When you redesign your building’s main lobby, remember to treat any branded elements as an integral part of the overall design.

Logos & Identity: Add logo identifiers

Most cities are home to many museums, libraries, and other well visited public facilities. Lobby banners that identify the most visited or new information centers in your building will reassure visitors that they are heading in the right direction. A common design that provides a backdrop for logos will help unify and reinforce your organization's image.

You may want to consider a special branding program, like reproductions of historic murals or posters; they add a familiar reference and may be integrated into your building’s existing artwork program.
